We want you to love Tolkie. If you're not satisfied with your purchase, we offer a full refund within 30 days of your initial payment — no questions asked.

This applies to:

  • • First-time subscriptions (monthly or annual)
  • • Plan upgrades (within 30 days of the upgrade)
  • • Add-on purchases (within 30 days of purchase)

How to Request a Refund

Getting a refund is easy:

  1. 1 Email us at hello@tolkie.io with "Refund Request" in the subject line
  2. 2 Include the email address associated with your account
  3. 3 We'll process your refund within 1-2 business days

Refund Processing

Our payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Once we approve your refund:

  • Credit/Debit Cards: 5-10 business days
  • PayPal: 3-5 business days
  • Other methods: Varies by provider

Refunds are credited to the original payment method used for the purchase.

After 30 Days

After the 30-day window, we don't offer automatic refunds. However, we handle each case individually. If you have exceptional circumstances, please reach out — we're human and we understand things happen.

For annual plans, if you cancel mid-year, you'll retain access until the end of your billing period. We don't offer prorated refunds for unused months.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings:

  • Keep access until the end of your billing period
  • Export all your data before canceling
  • Reactivate anytime without losing data (within 90 days)

Free Plan

Our free plan is... free. There's nothing to refund. You can use it for as long as you want, and upgrade to a paid plan whenever you're ready.
